Kia Ora! I see clients online and in person in Raumati South. I have 10 years experience working as a counsellor. I am particularly interested in working with clients who are motivated to live their best life, reach their goals, and recognise their agency and responsibility for creating a life they are proud of. I am very experienced working with young people, I have a background in youth development and in my therapeutic work I spent five years as a guidance counsellor. I am particularly interested in working with adults, young people and parents who identify as LGBTIQ+, transgender and non-binary, and parents who have children that are LGBTIQ+ I take a friendly, relaxed and positive approach in my work. I am empathetic and sensitive to the needs of my client. I am interested in developing solid client-therapist relationships centred on trust, authenticity and empowerment. I am reflective and considered in my practice with a good sense of humour. Social justice is close to my heart.
