What I do
I have accumulated over 20 years of experience in the field of social services, where I have dealt with a wide range of complex issues such as mental health, addictions, co-existing problems, high-risk family harm, and the management of community agencies and teams. My expertise lies in handling challenging situations that require a well-balanced approach. Throughout my career, I have worked with both victims and perpetrators of violence, allowing me to develop a non-judgmental perspective. I genuinely believe that people aspire to lead happier lives, but at times they lack the necessary guidance. To address this, I employ various therapeutic techniques tailored to the individual I am working with. I am well-versed in cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, Te Whare Tapa Wha and I use Brainspotting & Hypnotherapy for Trauma work.
