I have a particular interest in motherhood and postpartum depression and anxiety as well as birth trauma. I also work with generalised depression and anxiety and trauma. I use a variety of strategies and techniques to work with what works for you as the client. I have completed extra training in Acceptance Commitment Therapy. I am open to ACC social work referrals as well as private counselling/social work work. I can do online or face to face work.

There are so many challenges in life and each person is a unique individual. My work is tailored to fit the needs of my clients, although my understanding of clients is from a psychoanalytic/depth perspective. I work with individuals and couples who are experiencing everyday challenges as well as those who have significant difficulties.

I and trained in general mental health with a specialist interest in trauma, anxiety, pain and women's health. I am a preferred provider of assessment and treatment for ACC in areas of mental injury, Pain and sensitive claims. I also receive referral from the general public, Gp's colleagues, specialists and contracted organisations.

Arts therapy uses creativity within therapy to create connection through meaning-making and embodied expression which allows space for healing and growth. As an arts therapist, I am passionate about using creativity to enhance wellbeing using a mindful, client-centered, strengths-based and trauma-informed approach. I work between Whitianga, Thames and Whangamata specializing in ACC sensitive claims work for those who have experienced sexual abuse/violence.

I have dual qualifications in counselling as well as social work. I'm currently only available for ISSC social work referrals (please note, clients can be referred for social work input via their ISSC therapist only). Therapists may contact me about availability.

Kia Ora. I have specialised in mental health nursing and provide assessments, brief intervention, trauma informed care, planning and support around accessing other services which may be required. I provide face to face, phone and zoom consultations, meeting your session needs.

I am a clinical psychologist with 30 years of experience doing assessments and providing treatment. My current focus is on ADHD and I am available to do assessments on adults throughout New Zealand using a remote format.
