What I do
Kia ora, I’m Sally Williams, a passionate and dedicated counselor committed to walking alongside my clients as they navigate life’s challenges. I hold a qualification in Applied Counselling from Manukau Institute of Technology and am a provisional member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC). As a Pākehā counselor, I recognize the importance of cultural safety and work closely with Te Tiriti o Waitangi, honoring its principles in my practice. I strive to create a space that respects and acknowledges the diverse cultural identities of Aotearoa, fostering an environment where everyone feels seen and valued. My approach is grounded in authenticity, honesty, and collaboration. I believe in building genuine, trusting relationships with my clients and tailoring therapy to suit their unique needs and goals. Known for my open-minded, non-judgmental nature, I provide a stigma-free environment where clients from all walks of life feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions.
