I can provide social work advocacy and counseling interventions using integrative and holistic therapeutic approaches bilingually (English and Mandarin). Since 2007, I have worked in the health sector providing social work and counselling in different settings. In 2017 I set up a private practice to fully utilise my knowledge and skills to benefit local communities. I believe that there is no one perfect model when working in New Zealand – the island of diversity. I work in a culturally respectful and sensitive manner with clients from all cultures and walks of life. My special expertise is combining social work experience and counseling skills to talk through issues like • depression • anxiety • insomnia • social phobia • relationships in the workplace and families • financial hardship • housing problems • grief and bereavement • palliative care and carer burden • seeking ways to reduce or resolve the issues achieving goals set by the clients.
