I am an NZAC-registered counsellor based on Aotea Great Barrier Island, offering sessions both in-person here on island, and online for people throughout Aotearoa. My practice is an open, honest partnership for exploring life's challenges. I draw from pluralistic and existential frameworks, using evidence-based methods to provide a calm and straightforward environment where we can look at your life within the wider context of social justice and the systems we live in. I work with a wide range of themes, including navigating major life events, grief and loss, chronic health issues, and integrating exceptional experiences. I also provide support for navigating substance use and habit patterns through a practical harm-reduction lens, as well as finding a way through cycles of low mood, anxiety, or anger.
