I have over 30 years of experience working in various settings as an adult teacher, social worker, and counselor. Presently I work as a therapist/counsellor under ACC sensitive claims working with women who can also have complex addiction and mental health issues. I am client-led and work holistically offering a range of tools and strategies tailored to each individual.

I have been working in the areas of mental health, addictions, family harm, and sexual violence since 2010. I specialise in workplace bullying, parenting, relationship issues, difficult family dynamics, attachment issues, grief, loss, pregnancy loss (including miscarriage and termination), depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma and PTSD, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and sexual assault.

I use different methods to ensure the most sensitive and effective therapy for every client’s unique situation. Ria is a counselling psychologist. She has worked in a variety of settings, specializing in mental health, addictions, sexual trauma, as well as relationship and self-esteem issues. Ria has a specialised interest in healthy sexuality and intimacy. She has worked with women, men and adolescents from different cultural backgrounds with neurodiversity, intellectual disabilities and legal issues. I have experience counselling young adults using Person Centred Counselling modality as my base along with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. I specialise in ACC sensitive claims work for women who have experienced sexual abuse/violence.

Martinette Pienaar is a registered Clinical Psychologist in private practice, with consulting rooms in Taupo and Kinloch. She has been practicing as a Clinical Psychologist for more than 17 years - initially in South Africa and since 2019 in New Zealand. Martinette has a special interest in clinical psychological assessments and is experienced in working with trauma and providing trauma-informed care. She is registered with ACC under the ISSC (sensitive claims) – and psychological services contracts.

Rose is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about supporting people to make a positive difference to their lives and within the systems they reside. Rose has experience working in private and public healthcare, alongside criminal justice settings. She brings a wealth of experience working both individually with clients, with teams, and within systems. She has extensive experience undertaking comprehensive clinical assessments and providing therapy on an individual and group basis. Further, Rose has undertaken considerable consultation for a variety of professional groups, delivered training, and has extensive experience providing supervision for registered clinical psychologists, allied health professionals and other professionals. Rose’s approach to clinical work is integrative, underpinned by evidence-based practice. She is committed to working collaboratively, authentically and in a trauma-informed manner. Rose is available for referrals for therapy and assessment (such as adult ADHD).

I am a Registered Clinical Psychologist who loves to provide evidence-based and supportive therapy that is tailored to meet individual needs. I strive to work in a compassionate, culturally sensitive and approachable manner. I have experience working in private and public healthcare and criminal justice settings. Fiona is an experienced and compassionate Counsellor & EMDR Therapist, who can support individuals through life’s complexities, and provide a safe place to explore emotions, confront challenges, and foster resilience. Specialising in helping young people between the ages of 13 - 25 with Addiction and Mental Health support and treatment. I have a broad range of skills and experience working with adolescents and young adults, and enjoy this field immensely. I have travelled extensively in my early life, and reap the benefits in terms of comfort and understanding around engaging with many cultures and ethnicities.

I am a Clinical Psychologist based on the North Shore in Auckland. For over a 15 years I have worked with those who experienced a wide range of mental health issues including addiction, depression, psychotic disorders, trauma and severe personality disorders. Since 2016 I have had my own private practice.

I am a qualified Psychosynthesis Counsellor and a member of NZAC. I have been in private practice for the past 20 years. I work with individuals – from late teens onwards, providing a confidential service.  Working in both private practice and for DHBs, I have experience in the Emergency Department at two major hospitals, also in Womens Health and with Older Adults.  I have experience working with a wide range of mental health and emotional challenges.  This has included dealing with clients with depression, anxiety, abuse, trauma and relationship difficulties and other general real life issues as well as ACC Sensitive Claims.
