I’m a registered social worker with additional training in counselling, offering a supportive, practical, and compassionate space for people navigating life’s challenges. I have a particular interest in working with trauma, motherhood, neurodiversity, hoarding and family therapy, and I understand that everyone’s experiences and needs are unique. My approach is flexible and collaborative. I draw from an eclectic mix of therapeutic styles so that our work together is tailored to you, rather than fitting you into a single model. Whether you’re looking to process difficult experiences, build coping skills, or create meaningful change, I aim to meet you where you are and support you in moving toward a life that feels more manageable and aligned with your values.

There are so many challenges in life and each person is a unique individual. My work is tailored to fit the needs of my clients, although my understanding of clients is from a psychoanalytic/depth perspective. I work with individuals and couples who are experiencing everyday challenges as well as those who have significant difficulties.

Anna is a Senior Clinical Psychologist who is skilled in ADHD, Autism, and Gender Dysphoria assessments, completing these in person in Christchurch and online for those around New Zealand. Anna worked for Child and Family CDHB outpatient mental health services for 10 years and has been in private practice since 2019. Anna is competent in treating adolescents and young adults, with a particular interest in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, and mood dysregulation. Anna assists families/whānau with complex child behaviour and mental health concerns. I and trained in general mental health with a specialist interest in trauma, anxiety, pain and women's health. I am a preferred provider of assessment and treatment for ACC in areas of mental injury, Pain and sensitive claims. I also receive referral from the general public, Gp's colleagues, specialists and contracted organisations.

Arts therapy uses creativity within therapy to create connection through meaning-making and embodied expression which allows space for healing and growth. As an arts therapist, I am passionate about using creativity to enhance wellbeing using a mindful, client-centered, strengths-based and trauma-informed approach. I work between Whitianga, Thames and Whangamata specializing in ACC sensitive claims work for those who have experienced sexual abuse/violence.

Kia Ora. I have specialised in mental health nursing and provide assessments, brief intervention, trauma informed care, planning and support around accessing other services which may be required. I provide face to face, phone and zoom consultations, meeting your session needs.

I am a clinical psychologist with 30 years of experience doing assessments and providing treatment. My current focus is on ADHD and I am available to do assessments on adults throughout New Zealand using a remote format.
